Spring Study Series

Author Adam Hamilton believes that powerful answers to many of our complicated questions are contained in the Apostles’ Creed, an early statement of foundational Christian beliefs. In Creed, he explores not only what Christians believe, but also why they believe, and why it matters, which in turn leads readers to confront and examine their own core beliefs and go beyond reciting the Creed’s familiar words. A great companion study to the spring worship series, CREED will be offered for six weeks in three weekly sessions led by Rev. Bushey beginning Sunday, April 8th. School-age children, youth (parents welcome) and will meet at 9AM on Sunday morning, Adult and Teen sessions will be offered on Sunday evenings at 6:00PM and Wednesdays (beginning April 11th) at 1:00PM. Books for the study are $13.50 (large print available). Sign up this Sunday!

Living in the Shadows: Shame based on 1 Peter 4:12-14; 5:6-11:   “If anyone knew shame it had to be Peter. Shame is a powerful emotion. It is the feeling of failure – failure to live up to some expectation that we have for ourselves. Shame is powerful, but we have witnessed something even more powerful in the love, grace, mercy, kindness, and forgiveness we find in Jesus. For in Jesus, we have nothing to be ashamed of.

”  Worship with us Sundays at 10:30 AM. All are Welcome!
